I can recieve but not send?

Our servers will require authentication to send an email. If you are having issues sending then you will check your outgoing server settings.

For Outlook

For Outlook 2010 +
Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings

For Outlook 2007 and below
Go to Tools > Account Settings.

You should now have a window pop up showing your email accounts. Double click on your email account to bring up the settings.  Click the 'More Settings' button (bottom right).

Under 'Outgoing Server' Tab, Tick 'My Outgoing Server requires authentication' and then tick 'use same settings as Incoming Server'.

If you need to change your outgoing settings on IOS
1. Click on settings on your iPhone/iPad.

Make sure that:
+ Your email address is set in the Username field.
+ Your password is set in the Password field.

If you are getting SSL warnings, then the hostname can be set to use the address of the server (e.g. mail5.hostinguk.net) which will have a valid SSL assigned to it. If you are not sure which server you should be using, please contact support.
